About the Program
The Emergency Management Volunteer Program helps local agencies during disasters and other emergencies. Volunteers assist with traffic control, evidence searches, damage assessments, storm spotting, and other emergency situations, helping law enforcement return to normal duties.
Volunteer Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be a resident of Moore County, Texas.
- Never been convicted as a Sex Offender as defined by the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 62.01.
- Not under Indictment for any criminal offense.
- Person(s) with criminal histories will be considered by the Advisory Committee on a case by case basis.
